Frequently Asked Questions
- What is GennaMD?
- GennaMD is the most potent UTI supplement per milligram available and effectively helps keep your urinary tract clean.
- How does GennaMD work?
- The 100% soluble PAC in GennaMD bind to UTI-causing bacteria, preventing them from sticking to the bladder. When bacteria can’t stick, they can’t cause an infection. The harmful bacteria are simply flushed out with urine in a normal and healthy manner.
- Why should I take GennaMD versus other cranberry supplements?
- Not all cranberry supplements are created equal. Only 100% juice-based PAC extract has proof that 36 mg is the efficacious dose. Whole-berry and press-cake cranberry supplements do not. Just because a supplement says it has 36mg of PAC on the label does not mean it has the superior potency of GennaMD. That’s because all of the PAC in GennaMD are extracted from 100% pure juice concentrate, using a highly refined proprietary double extraction process to ensure the highest PAC potency. Independent third-party studies provide evidence that juice-based PAC stop UTI-causing bacteria from sticking to the bladder. No other cranberry supplements meet the clinical-strength standards of GennaMD.
- What are proanthocyanidins (PAC)?
- PAC (or proanthocyanidins) is the active ingredient in cranberries. GennaMD is made using a highly refined proprietary double extraction process that ensures every capsule contains the most potent, medical-grade PAC.
Medical grade is not a term regulated by a single global standard in the dietary supplement industry. Medical grade typically means the product is manufactured under stringent quality controls and production standards similar to those used in the pharmaceutical industry. Consumers should look for certifications, third-party testing, and clear documentation of manufacturing practices to verify these claims. - Who should take GennaMD?
- Anyone who suffers from UTIs, and especially people who get frequent UTIs. While UTIs affect mostly women, men may develop UTIs as well and can benefit from once-daily GennaMD. You may also want to consider GennaMD if you are prone to UTIs as a result of sex, certain birth control, menopause, breastfeeding, various medical conditions like diabetes or conditions that limit your mobility, or if you use a catheter to urinate.
- Do I need a prescription to take GennaMD?
- No. While we’re proud to note that the soluble 36 mg PAC (proanthocyanidins) in GennaMD is clinically proven and recommended by healthcare professionals nationwide, it’s considered a dietary supplement (in the USA) and does not require a prescription.
- How often do I take GennaMD?
- To maintain a clean urinary tract: Take 1 capsule daily with water about the same time every day. For known triggers (such as travel, stress, lack of hydration, or inability to visit the bathroom ) or if early warning signs appear, take 2 capsules daily as needed, then return to one daily.
UTIs from sex: Because intercourse often results in bacteria in the urethra, take 2 capsules of GennaMD within an hour before or after sex and then 2 the following day (4 capsules total), OR take 1 capsule daily to stay ahead of UTIs no matter when the moment is right.
Remember: GennaMD won’t treat or cure a UTI, but it can help maintain a clean urinary tract to avoid future UTIs. If your healthcare professional confirms an active UTI, take GennaMD daily with your antibiotic to help your body flush out the bacteria. Learn more about taking GennaMD to stay head of UTIs. - Do I take GennaMD with or instead of an antibiotic?
- If you have a confirmed urinary tract infection, it will require antibiotic treatment. You can take GennaMD with your antibiotic as extra support against UTI causing bacteria until the infection clears, and then continue taking GennaMD once daily to maintain a healthy urinary tract. Please note: Taking antibiotics every day may not be the best plan for UTI prevention. Harmful bacteria become resistant to antibiotics, and they also have many unwanted side effects—like stomach upset, allergic reactions, or yeast infections. If you are prone to recurrent UTIs, GennaMD is a safe non-antibiotic way to help maintain a clean urinary tract and bladder.
- Is GennaMD acidic?
- It is about the same as a cup of coffee. To put it into numbers, the pH of water is 7, cranberry juice, and many other cranberry supplements, are much more acidic at 2.7 which is the same as a lemon. The pH of GennaMD is about halfway between the two, at 4.44. If you are sensitive to more acidic foods, consider adding an over-the-counter acid neutralizer.
- Is it possible to be allergic to GennaMD?
- While uncommon, if you have a red fruit allergy, consult your doctor before you take GennaMD. GennaMD contains 0.25 mg of salicylic acid (an active metabolite of aspirin) per capsule. Those with an allergy to aspirin should use caution if taking GennaMD.
- Does GennaMD contain any artificial preservatives or additives?
- GennaMD contains virtually no vitamin K, oxalates, or sugar. GennaMD is free from unnecessary fillers, GMOs, artificial preservatives, colors, or sweeteners, and does not contain corn, dairy, soy, wheat, yeast, or other common allergens. GennaMD is also gluten-free and vegan.
- Can children take GennaMD?
- Yes, GennaMD is a safe non-antibiotic solution to help maintain a clean urinary tract and bladder in children. Pediatric studies of 100% cranberry juice extract have have shown safety and efficacy in UTI prevention. Children under 50 pounds can take half a capsule of GennaMD once daily. Children 50 pounds and more can take the entire capsule. If a child can't swallow the capsule, mix the contents into a sweet beverage or soft food.
- Can pregnant women and nursing mothers take GennaMD?
- We have no studies on the use of GennaMD in pregnant women or nursing mothers. We recommend pregnant women discuss with their healthcare professional prior to taking any supplement.
- Can I take GennaMD if I’m a diabetic?
- Yes. GennaMD has no added sugar, so its glycemic index is quite low, and it won’t raise your blood sugar. The capsule itself contains only a trace amount of sugar, 0.0026 mg per capsule.
- Can I take GennaMD if I'm also taking blood thinners?
- Before taking GennaMD, please consult your healthcare professional if you are taking Coumadin (Warfarin) or other non-vitamin K anticoagulants. While no conclusive contraindications have been reported between GennaMD and Warfarin, and virtually all vitamin K is removed from our formula, we recommend asking your healthcare professional, as vitamin K may impact the efficacy of blood thinners.
- Will GennaMD give me kidney stones? will it aggravate the ones I have?
- No and no. Kidney stones and oxalates go hand in hand. Oxalates occur naturally in cranberries and cranberry juice and are found in high levels in some supplements. But GennaMD has a mere fraction – as little as a tenth – of the oxalates found in other cranberry products. This is because, while GennaMD does include cranberry extract, about 90% of the oxalates are left behind in our proprietary, complex manufacturing process when the active ingredient, PAC (proanthocyanidins), is extracted. GennaMD contains an average of 0.104 mg of oxalates per capsule.
- What if I have interstitial cystitis (IC)?
- While GennaMD is for urinary health and not a treatment for IC, if you are getting UTIs as a result of IC, then GennaMD can help. GennaMD has about the same acidity as a cup of coffee or cola. If that amount would bother you, you can take GennaMD along with an acid reducer, such as an effective and inexpensive product called Prelief. However, please be sure to talk to your doctor for proper IC treatment.
- What makes GennaMD different from other cranberry-based urinary health supplements?
- GennaMD™ is a urologist-recommended urinary health supplement with clinically proven 36 mg PAC, sourced only from pure cranberry juice extract—not skins or stems like most other cranberry supplements. Its 100% soluble, medical-grade PAC delivers maximum bacteria-blocking power and the highest PAC concentration available (30% vs. just 1–18% in others). Backed by 24 clinical studies,* GennaMD is also the smallest cranberry capsule on the market for recurrent UTIs.
- Can I take GennaMD alongside probiotics for enhanced urinary tract support?
- Yes! You can safely take UTI supplements like GennaMD with probiotics for added urinary tract support. Many healthcare professionals recommend pairing GennaMD with Māge™, our targeted prebiotic and probiotic that supports the gut, urinary tract, and vaginal microbiomes—a key factor in maintaining overall pelvic health.
- How does GennaMD support urinary health in post-menopausal women?
- During menopause, lower estrogen levels can thin the urinary tract lining and alter vaginal pH, making it easier for UTI-causing bacteria to grow and stick, increasing your risk for infection. While vaginal estrogen is a first-line therapy for recurrent UTIs caused by hormonal shifts, GennaMD is a great clinically proven addition to help maintain good post-menopausal urinary health.
- What are the ingredients in GennaMD, and how do they compare to other cranberry supplements?
- GennaMD's ingredients include 36 mg soluble, medical-grade PAC from pure cranberry juice extract, with no unnecessary fillers. Unlike most other cranberry supplements, our advanced extraction process delivers the high PAC purity while removing virtually all vitamin K, oxalates, and sugar. Free from GMOs, artificial preservatives, sweeteners, soy, wheat, dairy, and other common allergens, GennaMD is both gluten-free and vegan.
- What is Māge?
- Māge is a probiotic made specifically for women. Māge contains a proprietary blend of the most clinically studied prebiotics and probiotics proven to help restore balance to the female pelvic triangle: the gut, vagina, and urinary tract.
- What makes Māge different?
Two things make Māge unique: The blend of probiotics contained in Māge were specifically chosen because they’re clinically proven to help balance the entire female pelvic triangle: the gut, vagina and the urinary tract. Māge is also a prebiotic, and the prebiotic in Māge is not like any other: PreforPro® destroys the bacteria most commonly responsible for UTIs and other vaginal infections while simultaneously fortifying the probiotics as soon as they reach the gut, so they are able to thrive and multiply in the gut, and then travel through the rest of the pelvic triangle.
- Should Māge be taken with or without GennaMD?
- Māge and GennaMD can be taken together or separately—whatever works best for you. What matters most is that both GennaMD and Māge are taken daily, around the same time each day, for best results. Please note: If managing UTIs is your goal, Māge will not be an effective replacement for GennaMD. Think of Māge as added support; probiotics are one more tool recommended by Urologists to help maintain overall female pelvic health.
- Can men take Māge?
- Men can take Māge if desired; it’s good for gut health! Since Māge is specifically designed for women (it’s also good for vaginal and urinary tract health), it will contain probiotic strains most men won’t need. That said, men who rely on catheters may need extra support. In this case, Māge may help them, as well.
- Can a probiotic help with UTIs? if so, how?
- To a degree. A balanced and healthy pelvic triangle (gut, vagina, urinary tract) can reduce the incidence of urogenital & gut issues such as UTIs, bacterial vaginosis, constipation, and diarrhea. The correct probiotic strains in clinically proven doses can help reduce the number of bad bacteria that cause those issues. However, if you suffer from recurrent or chronic UTIs, it’s unlikely that probiotics alone will help. The best way to help manage recurrent UTIs is by taking GennaMD.
- Why is there a need for a probiotic designed specifically for women?
- Men and women’s bodies are different down to the cellular level, and yet, we often ingest supplements and medicines that don’t account for the gender-specific differences. When it comes to cold medicines, it’s less important. But when it comes to pelvic health, your probiotic supplement choice can make a big difference. For example, the gut is just one third of a woman’s pelvic region, and an imbalanced gut can have a significant ripple effect across the entire female pelvic triangle, as any women who’s ever had a yeast infection following a round of antibiotics will know all too well.
- What is the recommended dosage and how often should I take Māge?
- Māge contains 15.7 billion CFU per capsule, a clinically proven efficacious amount of prebiotics and probiotics. You should take one Māge capsule around the same time every day.
- What if I miss a dose?
- If you miss a dose, don’t worry. You can take your next capsule as soon as you remember. It is important to take Māge around the same time every day so it remains active in your intestinal tract. As with most probiotic supplements, once you stop taking Māge daily, the recolonization of unhealthy bacteria strains is likely.
- Should Māge be taken with or without food?
- Māge can be taken with or without food, and even on an empty stomach.
- Do I need to keep this probiotic in the fridge?
- Māge does not require refrigeration because it is built in such a way that the CFU counts are viable until the expiration date. Store Māge in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Refrigeration may extend shelf life a bit, but it is not required.
- Can I take this probiotic with an antibiotic?
- Yes you can, and you should! Just make sure to give yourself at least two hours before or after the antibiotic so that its beneficial microorganisms are not affected by antibiotics. Taking Māge will aid in balancing pelvic health (gut, vagina, urinary tract) by replenishing the good bacteria that might also be eradicated by the antibiotics.
- Does Māge interact with any medicines?
- Probiotics can interact with proton pump inhibitors (PPIs) used to treat gastric and esophagus diseases, such as acid reflux and ulcers, by reducing the efficacy of the PPI. To avoid this, take Māge at least 2 hours after a proton pump inhibitor to maximize the benefits of both the PPI and Māge.
- Are there any known side effects of taking Māge?
- Probiotics are beneficial bacteria and are generally considered to be free of side effects. Very rare and very minor side effects can be nausea, bloating, gas, and headaches.
- Do you have any studies to support the effectiveness of Māge’s ingredients?
The specific strains of probiotics and the prebiotic in Māge were selected because they have been studied extensively:
• Lactobacillus acidophilus La-14 - 37 In vitro studies & 17 clinical trials
• Lactobacillus rhamnosus HN001 - 85 In vitro studies & 47 clinical trials
• Bacillus subtilis DE111 – 30 clinical trials
• Bifidobacterium lactis HN019 (DR10) - 62 In vitro studies & 39 clinical trials
• PreforPro® - 20 clinical trials
- How long does it take for Māge to start working?
If you’re experiencing GI issues, you should notice a difference within a few days thanks to PreforPro®, the powerful prebiotic contained in Māge. For general health (immune health), it can take 6-8 weeks to feel a difference.
- Can I stop taking Māge if my issues are “fixed”?
- Māge should be used daily to help keep your pelvic triangle (gut, vagina, urinary tract) in balance. Life happens; things like daily stresses, diet changes, travel, weather change, etc., can disrupt your body’s natural balance. It’s most often these imbalances that are the root cause of digestive, vaginal, and urinary tract issues. If something in your life has changed and the root cause of your imbalances no longer exists, you can take a break for a few months to see if you still need it. However, even in that case, there’s no harm to staying the course with Māge, and it can even be beneficial.
- What makes Māge different from other women’s probiotics?
- Māge stands out from other women’s probiotics because it’s clinically formulated for the entire pelvic triangle—the gut, vagina, and urinary tract—not just digestion or vaginal health alone. It combines four proven probiotic strains, including Lactobacillus for vaginal microbiome balance, with PreforPro®, a unique prebiotic that targets and removes E. coli (the most common UTI-causing bacteria) while feeding beneficial bacteria.
- Can taking a probiotic like Māge support a healthy vaginal environment?
- Yes. Probiotics for vaginal health, like the probiotics found in Māge, help promote vaginal flora balance by increasing beneficial Lactobacillus that support a healthy pH and crowd out harmful bacteria or yeast. With clinically proven strains and a unique prebiotic, Māge helps maintain microbiome balance for the vagina, gut, and urinary tract.
- What strains are in Māge and why are they beneficial for women?
- Māge contains clinically proven women’s probiotic strains to support gut, vaginal, and urinary health. Lactobacillus rhamnosus HN001 – Supports healthy vaginal flora bacteria, optimal pH, and reduces BV risk. Lactobacillus acidophilus La-14 – Works with L. rhamnosus to improve vaginal balance and comfort. Bacillus subtilis DE111® – Promotes digestion, bowel regularity, and healthy gut microflora. Bifidobacterium lactis HN019 – Improves gut transit time and helps defend against E. coli. PreforPro®, a prebiotic that removes E. coli while nourishing the probiotics.
- Should I take Māge daily?
- Yes, you should take this Mage probiotic daily to help maintain gut, vagina, and urinary tract microbiome balance. Māge is a shelf-stable, so you don’t need to refrigerate it. Just store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Proper probiotic storage ensures the clinically proven strains remain potent until the expiration date.
- What is Via?
- Via is a non-hormonal vaginal moisturizer, clinically designed to replenish the body’s naturally occurring supply of moisture when used regularly.
- How is Via different from other vaginal moisturizers?
- Via is a fresh look at what a vaginal moisturizer should be based on today's science. Simply put, it is clinically designed to ensure maximum delivery of each ingredient. Via is also a luxurious cream emulsion, so it is not greasy, sticky or messy.
- How does Via work?
- Via is designed to be absorbed by the skin, to replenish the body’s naturally occurring supply of moisture when used regularly.
- What is the difference between a vaginal moisturizer and a lubricant?
- When it comes to vaginal moisturizer vs lubricant, the difference is in how they work and when you use them. Lubricants provide short-term comfort during sex, sitting on the surface to reduce friction and increase pleasure. Via is a daily vaginal moisturizer for long-term hydration, with a pH-balanced formulation that is designed to be absorbed into skin to help replenish your body’s naturally occurring supply of moisture.
- Can I use Via as a lubricant?
- Via can be used to increase comfort during sex, but it will not produce the same level of slipperiness as a lubricant. Lubricants tend to be oil-based formulations and they sit on top of your skin, whereas moisturizers are absorbed into the skin to rehydrate the cells. Regular use of Via could lessen the need for a lubricant if you don’t wish to use one.
- What are the symptoms of vaginal dryness?
- The most common indications of vaginal dryness are discomfort or pain with sex or urination, or increased frequency of vaginal and urinary tract infections.
- Can I have vaginal dryness and atrophy and not know it?
- The most common indications of vaginal dryness are discomfort or pain with sex or urination, and increased frequency of infections. If you don’t have these problems, chances are you’re not yet experiencing vaginal dryness. But to be safe, you might want to check with your healthcare professional during your next pelvic exam.
- Are there any known side-effects of using Via?
- There are no known side effects with use of Via. If you experience any signs of discomfort, please discontinue use and consult with your health care professional. Please call us at 877.421.7160 or email us at help@solvwellness.com so we can learn more and help you.
- Is via free of: fragrance, hormones, parabens, gluten, alcohol, dyes, preservatives, GMO?
- Yes, Via is made with only the highest quality ingredients that were carefully selected to work in harmony for maximum comfort.
- My doctor has prescribed an estrogen-based product for vaginal dryness. would Via be an alternative?
- Via is a non-hormonal vaginal moisturizer and is an alternative to estrogen-based products if you’re concerned about using a product with hormones. However, if your doctor prescribed the estrogen-based product, then they likely deemed it safe for you to use, and we would advise you to follow your healthcare professional’s recommendation. That said, while estrogen supplementation returns you to your previous normal state, for some women that is not enough. In this case, supplementation with Via can help.
- How does Via work in combination with GennaMD and/or Māge?
- Via works together with GennaMD and/or Māge to help optimize the health of your entire pelvic triangle (vagina, gut, and urinary tract). There’s a reason we call it a triangle: it’s all interconnected! The three microbiomes are each unique, with specific needs that impact the others: Via rehydrates the skin of the vagina, which impacts the vaginal microbiome, GennaMD helps prevent UTI-causing bacteria from sticking to the urinary tract wall, and Māge prebiotic and probiotic formula helps bring harmony to all three microbiomes.
- How do I apply Via?
• Dispense 2-3 pumps (a dime-sized amount) onto a clean, dry finger or onto the tip of the applicator.
• Insert your finger or the applicator up to 1 inch into your vaginal canal (past the vulva). You can find a diagram here. One inch is as deep as you need to go, as that’s where maximum absorption occurs.
• Gently apply the lotion to the external opening, also known as your vulva.
• Wash your hands and the applicator after each use.
• Apply at least 3 times per week. For best results, use daily.
- How long does it take to start working and how long should I use Via?
- You should feel some relief right away, although it may take up to 12 weeks of regular usage for a more noticeable improvement. (Of course, results will vary.) Via should be applied at least 3 times per week, and it’s safe to use daily. Think of Via like any other moisturizer you use on your skin—you need to use it regularly to continue to experience its benefits. Via is not a cure for dryness, but it will treat your dry vaginal skin for as long as you use it.
- How long should a bottle last if I use as recommended?
- If using Via daily as recommended, one bottle should last you about one month. You can always sign up for our Subscribe & Save program to make sure you don’t go without Via (you will also save 15% every order!).
- Can I use Via if I have a current infection?
- Yes, you can.
- Can you use Via with condoms?
- Via is compatible with latex and polyisoprene condoms, but not with polyurethane condoms.
- What ingredients in Via help with menopausal vaginal dryness?
- Via is a non-hormonal, hyaluronic acid based vaginal moisturizer that delivers lasting hydration and comfort. Its high-quality hyaluronic acid attracts and locks in moisture, peptides help maintain tissue resilience, and antioxidants (CoQ10, vitamin E, vitamin C) help nourish skin tissues. Jojoba oil soothes and improves absorption, making Via ideal for menopause dryness relief on vaginal estrogen “off days” or as a daily soothing vaginal cream.
- How often should I use Via Vaginal Moisturizer, and is it safe for daily use?
- Via should be applied at least three times per week, and it’s safe for daily long-term use. Think of Via like any other moisturizer—you need to use it regularly to maintain benefits.
- Can Via help with vaginal itching and burning?
- If your vaginal itching and burning are due to vaginal dryness, Via can help. This pH-balanced formula is designed to soothe vaginal irritation and condition dry vulvovaginal tissue with high-quality hyaluronic acid, peptides, antioxidants, and jojoba oil for deep hydration. If you suspect your symptoms are caused by an infection or another condition, it’s important to consult with your healthcare professional to ensure you receive proper treatment.
- What is Solv Wellness Joint Support and what does it do?
- Joint Support is a once-daily capsule combining two clinically studied ingredients: TurmXTRA® curcumin and UC-II® undenatured type-II collagen. They work on different timelines and through different mechanisms to deliver dual-action support. TurmXTRA® is a highly bioavailable turmeric extract formulated for fast-acting joint comfort, many people notice improvement in as early as 7 days. UC-II® collagen supports cartilage integrity, flexibility, and range of motion over time. Together, it offers comfort you can feel sooner and better mobility that builds over time, all in one small daily capsule. No powders, scoops, or black pepper required. FSA/HSA eligible.
- How does it work?
- TurmXTRA® is a curcumin extract that reduces the inflammatory response in joints through its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activity, allowing you to feel relief relatively quickly. UC-II® is an undenatured type II collagen that works through a unique mechanism called oral tolerance: small daily doses train the immune system to stop attacking joint cartilage, reducing inflammation at the source and supporting the body’s natural cartilage repair process and joint function over time. Most joint supplements address only one pathway. Solv Wellness Joint Support addresses both.
- How long before I feel a difference?
- Results can come in two phases. TurmXTRA® curcumin is fast: many people notice less stiffness and fewer daily aches within 7-14 days. UC-II® collagen builds over time: flexibility, range of motion, and mobility improvements typically start emerging within 4-12 weeks and compound with continued daily use. At 4+ weeks, both ingredients are working together, delivering the full dual-action benefit the formula is designed for.
- Does this require black pepper or piperine to work?
- No—and that is one of TurmXTRA®’s most important advantages. Standard curcumin is poorly absorbed on its own, which is why most supplements add black pepper extract (piperine) to enhance bioavailability. Piperine works, but it can cause digestive irritation, interfere with how the body metabolizes certain medications, and raise concerns about liver toxicity. TurmXTRA® achieves 10x the bioavailability of standard curcumin through its unique formulation technology—no piperine or black pepper needed. It's better absorbed, easier on digestion, and lower interaction risk.
- Is this right for the joint changes that come with menopause?
- Yes, and this is one of the most clinically relevant applications for this formula. Many women are surprised to learn that joint stiffness and aches that appear during perimenopause and menopause are not just aging. Declining estrogen directly affects joint lubrication and cartilage health, driving inflammation and reduced mobility. TurmXTRA® addresses the inflammatory response that contributes to daily discomfort. UC-II® supports cartilage integrity and range of motion over time. In a clinical trial, UC-II® participants improved range of motion by 15x versus placebo and walked significantly more steps per day. If your joints have changed in the last few years and you’re not sure why, estrogen’s role in joint health is worth understanding.
- How do I take it?
- Take one capsule daily, with or without food. Morning is a good time to take Solv Wellness Joint Support because your body’s inflammatory signals naturally increase as you start moving and going about your day. TurmXTRA® is also absorbed relatively quickly, which means taking it early aligns well with daytime activity, exercise, and joint use. Solv Wellness Joint Support is safe for both men and women. Set a reminder until it becomes automatic; consistency matters more than exact timing. If you miss a day, just continue as normal. No need to double up.
- Is it safe for long-term daily use?
- Yes. TurmXTRA® and UC-II® have each been evaluated in clinical studies for long-term safety. TurmXTRA® is well-tolerated without piperine, reducing the GI and drug-interaction risk common with most curcumin products. UC-II® has been studied in clinical trials and has been on the market for over 20 years, with no serious adverse events reported. Long-term consistent use is also how both ingredients deliver their full benefit. Sporadic dosing will not produce the same outcomes. Solv Wellness Joint Support is designed for ongoing daily use.
- Can I take this with other medications or supplements?
- If you take blood thinners, NSAIDs, antiplatelet medications, diabetes medicines, or other prescription drugs, speak with your healthcare professional before starting. Like all curcumin products, TurmXTRA® has mild blood-thinning properties at higher doses, but because TurmXTRA® does not use piperine, it does not carry the broader drug metabolism interference that piperine-enhanced curcumin products can cause. Solv Wellness Joint Support is generally compatible with standard supplement stacks.
- Can men take this too?
- Yes, Solv Wellness Joint Support is not gender specific. Joint inflammation, cartilage wear, and mobility loss affect men and women, and the clinical studies on both ingredients included male and female participants. Solv Wellness Joint Support is equally effective for men dealing with everyday stiffness, muscle soreness, or age-related joint changes. It makes an easy shared supplement for households where both partners want joint support without two different products.
- What is Solv Wellness Hot Flash Relief and what does it do?
- Solv Wellness Hot Flash Relief is a once-daily capsule formulated with Menofelis®, a plant-based extract from rhapontic rhubarb root, backed by 6 clinical studies and 30+ years of use in menopausal symptom management. It works with the body’s temperature regulation pathway to reduce the frequency and intensity of hot flashes and night sweats without raising estrogen levels or introducing hormones. In clinical research, Menofelis® reduced hot flashes by up to 90% vs. placebo in 12 weeks. FSA/HSA eligible.
- How does it work?
- As estrogen declines during perimenopause and menopause, the body’s internal thermostat becomes more sensitive—triggering the sudden heat spikes and nighttime sweats many women know all too well. The active ingredient, Menofelis®, works with the receptor pathway linked to temperature control (ER-β), helping recalibrate that response. It does not mimic estrogen or raise estrogen levels nor does it interact with the receptor linked to breast or uterine tissue (ER-α). The result is fewer flashes during the day and cooler, more uninterrupted nights without hormones.
- How long before I feel a difference?
- Many women notice improvements in hot flash frequency and intensity within 4 weeks of consistent daily use. By 12 weeks, clinical data shows most participants experienced fewer flashes, less intense temperature swings, and better sleep. Benefits build with continued use. Give it the full 12 weeks before evaluating and be sure to take it daily.
- Will this help with night sweats too, or just hot flashes?
- Both. Hot flashes and night sweats are the same underlying response (the body’s overreactive thermostat) but triggered at different times of day. Menofelis® targets the temperature regulation pathway driving both hot flashes and night sweats. In clinical studies, participants reported improvements in night sweats alongside daytime hot flash reduction, with many noting more restful, uninterrupted sleep within the first 4 weeks and continued benefit through 12 weeks.
- Is this safe for women who cannot take hormones?
- Yes, Solv Wellness Hot Flash Relief is non-estrogenic and is a plant-based option, so it’s safe for those who don’t wish to use estrogen products. The body uses estrogen receptors like small signaling switches. One receptor (ER-β) is associated with temperature regulation and nervous system signaling. That is the receptor Solv Wellness Hot Flash Relief targets. It does not raise estrogen levels or bind to the receptor linked to tissue growth in the breasts and the uterus (ER-α). This distinguishes it from phytoestrogens like soy isoflavones, which mimic estrogen and may not be appropriate for women with hormone-sensitive histories. However, we always recommend speaking with your healthcare professional before using it if you have any concerns.
- Can I take this during perimenopause, or only after menopause?
- Perimenopause is when some women may start experiencing hot flashes, which can sometimes occur years before their last period. Menofelis® has been studied across the full hormonal transition, and Solv Wellness Hot Flash Relief is appropriate for use in both perimenopause and menopause. Starting consistent daily use when symptoms first emerge means you’re supporting your temperature regulation before symptoms escalate rather than catching up to them.
- How do I take it?
- Take one capsule daily, with or without food. Timing is flexible—morning or evening, both work. Most women find it easiest to pair it with an existing daily habit, like brushing teeth or morning coffee, so they don’t forget. Set a phone reminder for the first few weeks until it becomes routine. Consistent daily use is what drives results. If you miss a dose, and it is later in the day, go ahead and take it. If you completely miss the dose, resume the following day.
- Is it safe for long-term daily use?
- Yes. Menofelis® has been used clinically for over 30 years with a well-established safety profile in menopausal women, particularly as a regulated herbal medicinal product across Europe. It is non-hormonal, so it does not carry any long-term risks associated with estrogen-based therapies. Solv Wellness Hot Flash Relief is designed for ongoing daily support through perimenopause and menopause, there is no need to cycle off or take breaks.
- Can I take this alongside HRT, other supplements, or medications?
- Solv Wellness Hot Flash Relief is non-hormonal, making it a common choice for women bridging to or from hormone therapy, or managing residual symptoms alongside it. In fact, a 2025 retrospective cohort study found no higher breast cancer diagnosis rate vs. non-users or HRT users. If you take prescription medications, particularly for blood pressure, thyroid, or cholesterol, or medications for hormone-sensitive conditions, we always recommend speaking with your healthcare professional before adding a supplement to your routine. For most women on standard supplement stacks, there are no known adverse events.
- What is Solv Wellness Urinary Health?
- Solv Wellness Urinary Health is a daily capsule made from whole-cranberry powder standardized to deliver 36 mg of proanthocyanidins (PAC) per serving. PAC helps stop bacteria from adhering to the bladder and urinary tract wall, the first step in developing a UTI. Note: It is approximately 50% the potency of our clinical-strength PAC product, GennaMD.
- How do I take it?
- Take 1 capsule daily around the same time each day with water. For extra support, you can take two capsules daily.
- Does this supplement treat an active UTI?
- No. Cranberry supplements maintain urinary health by preventing bacterial adhesion; they do not kill bacteria or resolve an active infection. If you have symptoms, contact your healthcare professional. If you are prescribed antibiotics, you may continue taking Solv Wellness Urinary Health alongside them. The two work through different mechanisms and do not interfere with each other. After clearing the infection, staying consistent with your supplement routine is the most effective way to reduce your risk of future UTIs.
- How long before I notice benefits?
- Solv Wellness Urinary Health begins working approximately 12-24 hours after your first dose. Taking the supplement at the same time each day, as used in clinical protocols, helps maintain consistent PAC levels in the urinary tract and bladder to help fight the bacteria that cause UTIs. Episodic dosing reduces efficacy.
- Is it safe during pregnancy or while nursing?
- Cranberry supplements are widely consumed and generally well-tolerated, but clinical evidence specifically supporting their use during pregnancy is limited. We have no studies on the use of Solv Wellness Urinary Health in pregnant women or nursing mothers. We recommend pregnant women discuss with their healthcare professional prior to taking any supplement.
- How does this differ from GennaMD?
- GennaMD delivers 36 mg of PAC per serving, the dose supported by and based on clinical research on 100% cranberry juice extract. The 36 mg dose is only proven in 100% pure cranberry juice extracts. The difference is in formulation and PAC source. GennaMD uses a pure cranberry juice extract concentrated to 30% PAC (the highest available), producing a smaller capsule with soluble, highly bioavailable PAC for maximum UTI defense. GennaMD is our most advanced formula that is urologist-recommended for those who need clinical-strength support. Solv Wellness Urinary Health uses whole-cranberry PAC with 15% concentration (the highest among whole-berry supplements). For all whole-berry products, the effective dose has not been established or proven, although the market has assumed an effective dose of 36 mg. Solv Wellness offers the highest quality whole-berry PAC supplement in the category. Urinary Health is great for daily urinary health support, backed by a clinically studied whole-berry formula.
- Do I need to drink cranberry juice as well?
- No. A standardized capsule delivering 36 mg of soluble PAC is more effective and more consistent than regular cranberry juice. Most commercial store-bought juices have been processed in a way that neutralizes the PAC and is very watered down that they simply don’t have enough of the PAC (the active ingredient) to be effective. Another problem is that they are typically quite high in sugar. By taking a cranberry supplement like Solv Wellness Urinary Health, you’re only getting what you need (no sugar or unnecessary fillers) and can be sure you’re getting the correct dose of PAC to help support your urinary tract.
- Can I take this alongside antibiotics if I have an active UTI?
- Yes. Cranberry PAC works by preventing bacterial adhesion, not by killing bacteria, so there is no mechanism of interference with antibiotics. You can continue taking Solv Wellness Urinary Health during a course of antibiotic treatment. Doing so maintains the protective environment in the bladder and supports the kind of long-term consistent use that the clinical evidence shows is necessary for sustained protection after the infection clears.

Rates from 0-36% APR. Payment options through Affirm are subject to an eligibility check and are provided by these lending partners: affirm.com/lenders. Options depend on your purchase amount, and a down payment may be required. CA residents: Loans by Affirm Loan Services, LLC are made or arranged pursuant to a California Finance Lenders Law license. For licenses and disclosures, see affirm.com/licenses. For example, a $800 purchase might cost $72.21/mo over 12 months at 15% APR.
- Why buy with Affirm?
- Buy and receive your purchase right away, and pay for it over several months. This payment option allows you to split the price of your purchase into fixed payment amounts that fit your monthly budget.
- If Affirm approves your loan, you'll see your loan terms before you make your purchase. See exactly how much you owe each month, the number of payments you must make, and the total amount of interest you'll pay over the course of the loan. There are no hidden fees.
- The application process is secure and real-time. Affirm asks you for a few pieces of information. After you provide this information, Affirm notifies you of the loan amount that you're approved for, the interest rate, and the number of months that you have to pay off your loan -- all within seconds.
- You don't need a credit card to make a purchase. Affirm lends to the merchant directly on your behalf.
- You may be eligible for Affirm financing even if you don't have an extensive credit history. Affirm bases its loan decision not only on your credit, but also on several other data points about you.
- Affirm reminds you by email and SMS before your upcoming payment is due. Enable Autopay to schedule automatic monthly payments on your loan.
- What is required to have an Affirm account?
- To sign up for Affirm you must:
- Be 18 years or older (19 years or older if you're a ward of the state in Nebraska).
- Provide a valid U.S. or APO/FPO/DPO home address.
- Provide a valid U.S. mobile or VoIP number and agree to receive SMS text messages. The phone account must be registered in your name.
- Provide your full name, email address, date of birth, and the last 4 digits of your social security number to help us verify your identity.
- How does Affirm work?
- Affirm loan-application process steps:
- At checkout, choose Pay with Affirm.
- Affirm prompts you to enter a few pieces of information: Name, email, mobile phone number, date of birth, and the last four digits of your social security number. This information must be consistent and your own.
- To ensure that you're the person making the purchase, Affirm sends a text message to your cell phone with a unique authorization code.
- Enter the authorization code into the application form. Within a few seconds, Affirm notifies you of the loan amount you're approved for, the interest rate, and the number of months you have to pay off your loan. You have the option to pay off your loan over three, six, or twelve months. Affirm states the amount of your fixed, monthly payments and the total amount of interest you'll pay over the course of the loan.
- To accept Affirm's financing offer, click Confirm Loan and you're done.
- How does Affirm approve borrowers for loans?
- Affirm asks for a few pieces of personal information: Name, email address, mobile phone number, date of birth, and the last four digits of your social security number.
- Affirm verifies your identity with this information and makes an instant loan decision.
- Affirm bases its loan decision not only on your credit, but also on several other data points. This means that you may be able to obtain financing from Affirm even if don't have an extensive credit history.
- Does Affirm perform a credit check? Does it impact my credit?
- No, your credit won't be affected when you create an Affirm account or check your eligibility (including checking your pre qualification eligibility). When you apply for or check to see if you prequalify for Affirm financing, it's considered a soft inquiry, which does not affect your credit. If you decide to pay with installments through Affirm, your payment plan and repayment activity may be reported to credit bureaus. You can find more information on Affirm's Help Center.
- Why was I denied financing by Affirm?
- The merchant has no information regarding a customer's financing denial. Affirm strives to offer all credit-worthy applicants financing with Affirm, but isn't able to offer credit in every case. Affirm will send you an email with more details about its decision. Unfortunately Affirm's decision is final.
- Why was I asked to verify my identity?
- If Affirm has difficulty confirming your identity, you may need to provide more information. Affirm uses modern technology to confirm your identity, including verifying your address or full SSN, or requesting a photo of your ID. Affirm takes these steps in some cases to counter fraud and provide the most accurate credit decision they can.
- Why was I prompted to enter my income?
- Affirm may sometimes need more information about your finances and your ability to repay in order to make a credit decision. Your income gives Affirm additional insight into your ability to repay.
- Why was I prompted for my checking account?
- Affirm may sometimes need more information about your finances and your ability to repay in order to make a credit decision. If you are prompted to link your checking account and would like to proceed, please provide the login information for your online bank account. Affirm does not store your online login credentials---they are transmitted securely to your bank.
If Affirm asks you to link your checking account, Affirm won't be able to offer you credit if:
- Your bank is not listed
- You choose not to link your checking account
- You don't use online banking
- The username and / or password you provide is incorrect
- You're unable to successfully connect your checking account
- Why is my bank not listed?
- Although Affirm is continually adding support for additional banks, they aren't able to connect to every bank at the present time. We apologize for the inconvenience. If you're unable to connect your bank, you'll need to complete your purchase with another payment method.
- Why was I prompted for a down payment?
- Affirm isn't always able to offer credit for the full amount you request. In these cases, Affirm asks you to make a down payment with a debit card for the remainder of your purchase. The down payment amount can't be changed and must be made upon confirming your loan and before the loan offer expires.
- Will I see how much interest I am paying prior to accepting my loan?
- Yes! Affirm works hard to be completely transparent. You'll see the amount of interest you'll owe on the terms page and again on the loan confirmation page. If you pay off your loan early, you'll receive a rebate for any interest that hasn't yet accrued.
- Why can't customers outside the U.S. use Affirm?
- Affirm is available only to shoppers residing in the United States and Canada. Affirm hopes to expand its services to customers outside the U.S. and Canada in the future.
- What are Affirm's fees?
- The annual percentage rate (APR) on an Affirm loan ranges from 10% to 30%. Affirm discloses any required fees upfront before you make a purchase, so you know exactly what you will pay for your financing. Affirm does not charge any hidden fees, including annual fees.
- Why is my Affirm interest rate so high?
When Affirm determines your annual percentage rate (APR), it evaluates a number of factors, including your credit score and other data about you. If you finance future purchases with Affirm, you may be eligible for a lower APR depending on your financial situation at the time of purchase.
This APR calculator will give you an idea of how much interest you actually pay: https://www.affirm.com/apr-calculator/
When you consider Affirm financing, carefully evaluate the loan terms that Affirm offers you and determine whether the monthly payments fit your budget.
- How is interest on an Affirm loan calculated?
Affirm calculates the annual percentage rate (APR) of a loan using simple interest, which equals the rate multiplied by the loan amount and by the number of months the loan is outstanding.
This model differs from compound interest, in which the interest expense is calculated on the loan amount and the accumulated interest on the loan from previous periods. Think about compound interest as "interest on interest," which can increase the loan amount. Credit cards, for example, use compound interest to calculate the interest expense on outstanding credit card debt.
- How do I make my payments?
- Before each payment is due, Affirm sends you an email or SMS reminder with the installment amount that is coming due and the due date. You have the option to sign up for autopay, so you don't risk missing a payment.
Follow these steps to make a payment:- Go to www.affirm.com/account.
- Enter your mobile phone number. Affirm sends a personalized security PIN to your phone.
- Enter this security PIN into the form on the next page and click Sign in.
- After you sign in, a list of your loans appears, with payments that are coming due. Click the loan payment you would like to make.
- Make a payment using a debit card or ACH bank transfer.
- If I return an item, how do refunds work?
A refund posts to your Affirm account if we process your refund request. In the event that we issue you store credit instead of a refund, you are still responsible for paying off your Affirm loan.
If you have already made loan payments or a down payment, Affirm issues a refund credit to the bank account or debit card that you used to make the payments.
- How long does it take to get my money back in the event of a return?
- A refund credit appears in your account within three to ten business days, depending on your bank's processing time.
- Can I amend my order after my purchase has been processed? Can I be approved for a higher loan amount if my purchase amount increases?
- You cannot edit your order after you have confirmed your loan. If you want to add items to your purchase, apply for another loan with Affirm or use a different payment method.
- Am I able to obtain a refund from Affirm after my purchase?
- Refunds can be processed up to 365 days from the date your order is placed.
